Manufacturer of Arena Werks & Hey Werks
The Arena Werks Arena Drags came about in 1989 when Randy wanted an arena drag that gave him good safe ground in his arena. He purchased an arena drag that an individual had designed similar to the rotary harrow and then a friend wanted one and then another friend wanted one and on and on. Randy worked on different changes and added variety to the arena drag design and never looked back. Randy used to train and show horses so he knew how important good footing was in an arena for his horses to remain as sound and free of leg/ankle injuries as possible.
The circular motion of the arena werks arena drag takes the high spots of dirt and spins them around and deposits them in the low spots. It will grab the dirt that gets thrown up on the rail around the arena fence, therefore, leaving a smooth, level finish on the arena.
The basic straight drag harrow won’t fill in your low spots; it will just run over the high spots and not level the ground under the top level of dirt. The drag harrow can’t get the dirt off of the rail and move it back to the middle. It leaves ruts in the arena footing.
He committed his business to the Lord and on all his ads he has the verse from Proverbs 16:3, which says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plan shall succeed.”
Arena Werks arena drags have been used at MORE World shows than any other drag in the past 30 years. That list includes the NSBA World show, the AQHA World show, the Appaloosa World show, the APHA World show, the SHTX World show, the Pinto World show, the Palamino World show, and the Buckskin World show.
What makes the Arena Werks Rotary Harrow excel compared to other arena drags on the market?
The circular motion of the arena drag takes the high spots of dirt and spins them around and deposits them in the low spots. It will grab the dirt that gets thrown up on the rail around the arena fence, therefore, leaving a smooth, level finish on the arena.
With the Arena Werks Arena Drag you are able to Water, Rip, Level, and Smooth all in one swipe. And with no corners on the drag, you are able to get close to the fence and it won’t hook the fence post.
We manufacture different arena drag models, and different sizes for everyone’s individual needs.
We offer quality in the preparation of arena footing. Our harrows also work well with rubber footing and different types of footing used today by Ropers, Reiners, Western Pleasure, Cutting, and English riders. Our harrows are also used in orchards, baseball diamonds, and even landscaping.
